Who We Are

The Queensbury Land Conservancy(QLC) is a 501 c(3) non-profit organization founded in 2000 to protect open space in the Greater Queensbury-Glens Falls region. It was created by local residents who share a commitment to conserving and enhancing the natural and recreational resources of the area for the benefit of current residents and future generations.

Our mission is to work with all sectors of the community to conserve land and resources in a manner consistent with responsible development. The organization is funded, in part, by the Town of Queensbury with additional support provided by donors.
