Leon m. steves big bay preserve

The land for the Leon M. Steves Big Bay Preserve was donated by the Open Space Institute in 2015. 

QUICK FACTS:


There is more than 2,500 feet of shorefront on the Hudson River and over 3,000 feet of shorefront along Clendon Brook. The land abuts a 38 acre parcel to the east, owned by the Town of Queensbury. This will allow for future trails. Permission has already been granted to cross city lands and the preserve will connect to the trails of Hudson Pointe to the west.

Division Road, Queensbury, NY  

Directions:

From exit 18 of I87 Adirondack Northway, take Corinth west one mile. Turn left onto Division Rd. The preserve is approx. 1/4 mile on the left. 

If coming from the West on Corinth Road, Division Rd. is approx. 1.5 miles past West Mountain Road.
